This is rapid concept work created within a 3 week window for an executive who needed visual concepts to rally and align stakeholders. On this short project we were tasked with bringing this Retirement Distribution portal to life with a comprehensive dashboard and scenarios from our user personas to show the flow of this portal.
Summary
As the UX designer on this project, I worked with two other designers to create these concepts and ideate with the project lead. While designing these screens we worked to create detailed wireframes that laid out our plan, then moved into high fidelity visual designs and a prototype to bring our idea to life.
Role
The challenge on this project was to understand the role of the advisor and the tasks they would perform for their clients.
Challenge
While working with two other UX designers on this portal, we prioritized the organization and navigation of the materials we needed to include and display. We started our design work with understanding the competitive research that was performed by our researchers and moved into wireframes.
Process
While working with the research provided to us in such a short amount of time we worked on multiple rounds of wireframes that increased with fidelity as we refined our designs. Our final round of wireframes included navigation, data, and graphs which were all included in our visual designs.
The Approach
After completing the wireframes, I worked on adding visual elements to our screens and bringing this work to life with color, icons, and other elements that added ease to our flow. I wanted the portal to be sleek and professional but still easy to understand and use.
